Life is hard, there is no doubt about it. Yet, without blood, sweat, and tears, there is no growth. Life is about growing into the best version of yourself that you can be. Life may be hard, but it is beautiful.

My name is Tyler Straight and my entire life has been about hard work, personal growth, and consistent change. When you grow up living on a ranch the oldest of seven kids, there is no way to escape it. And I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

There is a prevailing cultural phenomenon happening in the USA where people expect to become a millionaire without working, victimhood has become a contest, employers work for employees, and everyone is expected to join progressive ideology or get labeled a hateful person.

Hard work and morals seem to be a thing of the past, but I still live by this code and the people I work with live this way as well. My daily interactions with hard working small business owners dedicated to providing for their families and producing quality products/services into the world are concrete proof that Old America isn’t dead.

With your small business combined with my exceptional design services we can change the world. We can be modern without abandoning old ideals, we can be successful without submitting to progressivism. It all starts within our own homes and the decisions we make today.

The Timeline of Straight Creative

  • 2015

    Growing up in a small family farming business, Tyler (Ty) took care of everything from rounding up cows to marketing and design. Teaching herself how to fudge nice-looking emails and signs for farmer’s markets taught her how much she loved design and after graduating high school she enrolled in community college for Graphic Design.

  • 2018

    After all of her plans for transferring to university for design fell through, Ty dropped everything and volunteered as a missionary for 10 months. During this period she decided to apply to a private University for Theology, putting her design career on the back burner.

  • 2019

    During Ty’s Undergraduate Studies for Theology she received multiple opportunities to freelance in design and illustration which sparked her love for design once more, logo design in particular. She also started dating her future husband at this time.

  • 2020

    The pandemic hit and Ty found herself taking classes online. With all of the free time that isolation brings she started teaching herself website design and began formulating the basis of her own design studio. In August her mom passed away unexpectedly (the same day she got engaged), which prompted her to work even more vigorously than before.

  • 2021

    In August of 2021 Ty graduated, moved back home, got married, and then moved to NC with her new husband. Once again in an isolated situation, Ty put her time to use by jumping straight into launching her own design studio, spending countless hours planning, learning, and working toward the career she had first dreamt if in high school.

  • 2022

    By April, Straight Creative was officially launched and clients started trickling through the door. In addition to brand and web design, Ty also began teaching herself SEO, Google Ads, and anything that her new clients threw at her. It was an amazing time of growth and she realized the power of consistency. In June of 2022 Ty and her husband welcomed their first baby to the world.

  • The Present

    Today, Ty and her family live in New Braunfels, TX where she continues to work as a freelance Graphic Designer . It was after Straight Creative was a year old that she decided to narrow down her niche and work with other like-minded business owners in the Conservative sector. She thanks God everyday that she has a job she loves and that allows her to stay at home with her children.

A few fun facts!

  • The business that Ty grew up in is Family Friendly Farms.

  • She wrote a book in high school and dreams of returning to writing once her kids are grown.

  • While design is her forte, she also loves acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and ink.

  • She can play piano and guitar! Although, to be honest, it’s been years and she really needs to brush up.

  • She is a health nut and loves nutrition and exercise.

  • The main reason she chose design is because she knew it was a job she could do from home while raising a family.

  • Ty is a proud Roman Catholic.

  • She has traveled to eight countries and can’t wait to add more to the list with her family!
